The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Kacper Dulka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LKS Wasik Lidzbark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Switzerland the free kick. The supporters of Switzerland booed when LKS Wasik Lidzbark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Wykowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomasz Osielski charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomasz Osielski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of LKS Wasik Lidzbark:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Switzerland:s goal. Samuele Kunz shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Samuele Kunz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Switzerland's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuele Kunz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Mirowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuele Kunz to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Maurer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Mirowski having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Filip Bryk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LKS Wasik Lidzbark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Bryk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Mirowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuele Kunz in the 64th minute of the match. Switzerland's Rodrigo von Känel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kacper Dulka, made in the 66th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Samuele Kunz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of LKS Wasik Lidzbark's Igor Mirowski. Igor Mirowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Antoni Naskrent came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the LKS Wasik Lidzbark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antoni Naskrent couldn't finish the play. Levi von Herren hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Switzerland were the better team. Switzerland's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
