Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reggie Clement started the match with the kick off. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Söderkvist in the 2nd minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 6 minutes into the match, Al-Slottshöjden's goalkeeper Adilson do Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adilson do Vale firmly grabbed it by the left post. 13 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adilson do Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 14 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adilson do Vale made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Adilson do Vale in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reggie Clement in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Reggie Clement's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 24thth minute of the game Reggie Clement who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Belgium's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adilson do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Schutrups in the 36th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reggie Clement, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Yves Dervaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Adilson do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reggie Clement, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Al-Slottshöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Adilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adilson do Vale having to make a save. In the 54th minute Isak Deckbergh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Al-Slottshöjden's Adilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Dervaux in the 56th minute of play. Reggie Clement fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. Al-Slottshöjden's Adilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 69th minute of play. When Edward Vanderstraeten, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Adilson do Vale was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 71st minute Isak Deckbergh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Yves Dervaux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Belgium fans cheered their team off the field, for while Al-Slottshöjden had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
