Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Llorienzo in the 19th minute of play. Di Kang Ying scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Caballo Negro's Bonifacio Matxin. Bonifacio Matxin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bonifacio Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Caballo Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Segio to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Eriberto Juvenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Artur Van Caels kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play. When Malte Schiele fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Malte Schiele a yellow card for diving instead. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Van Caels. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaudencio Gonchan in the 46th minute. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedro Bazkoare showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 48 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Albin Holweck took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bonifacio Matxin. Bonifacio Matxin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. There was no doubt that Caballo Negro were the better team. Caballo Negro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
