Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwin Koppen. In the 3rd minute of the match Wils FC got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edwin Koppen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wils FC's Edwin Koppen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Andreas Frans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8thth minute of the game Harald De Messemaeckre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wils FC's Andreas Frans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Etienne Van Achteren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claus Van Dijck in the 16th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Frans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Frans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andreas Frans having to make a save. Wils FC's Andreas Frans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Harald De Messemaeckre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Etienne Van Achteren in the 73rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harald De Messemaeckre in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andreas Frans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 84 minutes into the game, Etienne Van Achteren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wils FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. A collision led to Wils FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Etienne Van Achteren hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Edwin Koppen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Etienne Van Achteren, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Wils FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
