Montes Quevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Rivas took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 28 minutes into the game, Aurelio Rivas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Rivas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurelio Rivas to strike the kick off in the second half. Montes Quevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Kees Mooiweer hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fetiyerd's Qin Shu Sang got a free kick in the 71st minute. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Rivas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 76thth minute of the game Aurelio Rivas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fetiyerd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vasco Quiñones in the 77th minute. Vasco Quiñones made a great header on Fetiyerd's corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save.
