With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Ascaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santiago Sartori made in the 94th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Carles Cherro however managed to control. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Spain had played much better football throughout.
