When Edelényi Bányász's Kliment Frontov in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelényi Bányász's Béla Simon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Újvári in the 15th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Béla Simon having to interfere. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Márk Kuti sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 21st minute of play forced Edelényi Bányász's goalkeeper Béla Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelényi Bányász's Béla Simon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balazs Lajos in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Edelényi Bányász's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Béla Simon came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 30th minute of play forced Edelényi Bányász's goalkeeper Béla Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 31st minute. Hungary's Katona Janos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Béla Simon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 35 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Hegedus Henrik. Kliment Frontov struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edelényi Bányász. Kliment Frontov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Béla Simon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Béla Simon having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Edelényi Bányász's Béla Simon got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Béla Simon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 53rd minute of play. Hungary's Balazs Lajos got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Hungary booed when Edelényi Bányász was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márk Kuti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Béla Simon made a huge save. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antal Valentin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Béla Simon 78 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boros Benedek during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 88 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Béla Simon. Edelényi Bányász's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Béla Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 92nd minute of the match. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
