After 27 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Nigel Devos. Lázaro Cefero struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marno F.C.. 38 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Marno F.C.'s Aldo Beltxe. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Jokin in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Marno F.C. were awarded a corner. Lázaro Cefero went to the cornerflag to take it. Lisandro Vitin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siebe Michiels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Aldo Beltxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Edward Vanderstraeten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marno F.C.'s Aldo Beltxe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Marno F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Victoro in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aldo Beltxe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Belgium eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
