The referee ignored KANONIERZY's protests and gave Marian Sobania a yellow card for diving instead. Julian Zgonina's late challenge caught a Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Zgonina helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Julian Zgonina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save KANONIERZY from getting a goal against them. After 26 minutes of play, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Abbiati was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivo Chaves made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Julian Zgonina. Christian Abbiati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Hamza Hanefi came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivo Chaves made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Julian Zgonina however managed to control. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ime Mavros, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Ime Mavros came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sigfrido Auletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Abbiati was a little too slow when Zaccheo Andolina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Julian Zgonina, made in the 53rd minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Porziano Marchitelli notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati. Christian Abbiati was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
