After some careless play in the Germany defense, Conny Josefsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match Egil Byström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Conny Josefsson put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. 24 minutes into the match, Kenny Liljeström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 3-0. In the 30th minute of the match Sven-Oskar Lundin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Tunander having to interfere. Rafal Huk's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafal Huk helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vilbergen Boys Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Vilbergen Boys Club:s Nils Tunander showed great skill when he stopped Frank Sachs:s penalty. The crowd rose to their feet as Klas Josefsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 5-0 in the 44 minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 48 minutes into the game, when Sven Krakouer put in a rough tackle. In the 48th minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. In the 51st minute of the game, Vilbergen Boys Club got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conny Josefsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Nils Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrich Stein, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Frank Sachs charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Sachs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Egil Byström who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Alaaddin Ahlebæk heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conny Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Conny Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Conny Josefsson made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conny Josefsson in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Vilbergen Boys Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Egil Byström in the 79th minute. The corner led Vilbergen Boys Club's Egil Byström to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Josefsson in the 85th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes, Conny Josefsson made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
