With a little luck, KaBuS FC's Hüseyin Karataş got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. İdris Hazin's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İdris Hazin helped the player get up and apologised. Denmark's Malthe Lassen was substituted for Bertram Svenningsen. In the 8th minute, İdris Hazin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pekin Mahçupyan in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute Orbay Durdu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, KaBuS FC's Devlet Gündoğan got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Denmark's Chris Nygaard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hüseyin Karataş. Hüseyin Karataş yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. KaBuS FC's Hüseyin Karataş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malthe Lassen in the 22nd minute of play. Malthe Lassen spun around in front of the goal 22 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of KaBuS FC's goal. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hüseyin Karataş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Halit Fahri Çağlar threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Lars Steen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Hüseyin Karataş made a huge save. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pekin Mahçupyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Hüseyin Karataş successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tayyar Taner in the 41st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hüseyin Karataş saved KaBuS FC from getting behind. When Nadir İspinoz came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the KaBuS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nadir İspinoz couldn't finish the play. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Hüseyin Karataş made a huge save. KaBuS FC's Hüseyin Karataş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save KaBuS FC from getting a goal against them.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tayyar Taner was the one to do the kick off. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nadir İspinoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Orbay Durdu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orbay Durdu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. In the 66th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin Karataş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Chris Nygaard put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hüseyin Karataş. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Lars Steen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Steen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hüseyin Karataş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Malthe Lassen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Karataş having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenn Skou to maneuver through the defense.
