Eugenio Mikelar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 3rd minute of the match. Remy Dupuy's late challenge caught a Cadáveres Voladores's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remy Dupuy helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, France's Remy Dupuy got a free kick in the 4th minute. France's attentive Remy Dupuy managed to snatch the ball when Edgard Arano made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. Cadáveres Voladores's Eugenio Mikelar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 12th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Cadáveres Voladores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Lertxun to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Cadáveres Voladores's Eugenio Mikelar got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cadáveres Voladores's Eugenio Mikelar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Dupuy in the 25th minute of play. When Nereo Gaizko fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cadáveres Voladores's protests and gave Nereo Gaizko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Nereo Gaizko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cadáveres Voladores's Eugenio Mikelar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Dupuy in the 32nd minute of play. In the 39th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arsenio Domiku to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Lertxun got free with Maxime Durand in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, David Barbier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eugenio Mikelar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd match minute, Cadáveres Voladores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Mercurio to maneuver through the defense. David Barbier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Mikelar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Frank Peletier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Mikelar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Eugenio Mikelar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camille Baume went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 77th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camille Baume to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Cadáveres Voladores's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Eugenio Mikelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Camille Baume made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Mikelar. Cadáveres Voladores's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Robert Chapuis came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Chapuis couldn't finish the play. Alexis Bruneau scored 5-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Mikelar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Edgard Arano in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. France's Remy Dupuy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Narciso Nicholas, made in the 95th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the France players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
