Albert Schegodskiy's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Schegodskiy helped the player get up and apologised. With 5 minutes on the clock, Malte Schiele commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 5th minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. In the 7th minute, Спартак got a penalty, and Armando Lucantoni placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Aleksandr Sibirev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes in the game Danil Kokoshnikov did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Albert Schegodskiy. When Timofey Buznikin fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Спартак's protests and gave Timofey Buznikin a yellow card for diving instead. Timofey Buznikin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ulrich Stein's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleksandr Sibirev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Lucantoni came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Спартак's Danil Kokoshnikov got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Armando Lucantoni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Armin Mustakivi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th play minute Armin Mustakivi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tommy Kahn. 3-0. Спартак's Zinoviy Bronnikov was substituted for Timur Babaskin. Спартак made a substitution. Clay Addison replaced Gerasim Ovchinnikov. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armin Mustakivi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danil Kokoshnikov made in the 56th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Albert Schegodskiy immediately put the ball in play. Armin Mustakivi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Ghazi Al Herz in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Albin Holweck. Danil Kokoshnikov made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Albert Schegodskiy however managed to control. Спартак's Aleksandr Sibirev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 84th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Aleksandr Sibirev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the game, Armin Mustakivi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Lucantoni in the 99th minute of play. Спартак's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
