Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Peletier made the kick off which started today's match. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Brough in the 4th minute of play. Frank Peletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Garth Brough took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jean Bombelles made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Robert Chapuis. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garth Brough in the 20th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Tom Riddle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. Australian Youth Academy's Tom Riddle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Australian Youth Academy from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the game, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxime Durand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Garth Brough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garth Brough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Garth Brough managed to get in a good position for a shot. Australian Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Garth Brough was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Bombelles to maneuver through the defense. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garth Brough in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Garth Brough made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Maxime Durand managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 52nd match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ellis Hoskin to maneuver through the defense. Ellis Hoskin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tom Riddle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 61st minute of the match. France's Camille Baume managed to work through Australian Youth Academy's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Camille Baume dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 63 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Tom Riddle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of France booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Martini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garth Brough. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garth Brough in the 70th minute. Australian Youth Academy's Rufus Roach quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Robert Chapuis, made in the 77th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garth Brough. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garth Brough in the 81st minute. A hard shot 84 in the game by Garth Brough from a close distance when the talented Maxime Durand managed to make a qualified save. France's players were relieved. After 84 minutes, Garth Brough made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. France's Maxime Durand tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Boyd Allan got a free kick in the 91st minute. Although France had been in control for most of the match, Australian Youth Academy still came away with the win.
