Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Intxaurrondo's Manel Cardeñosa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 7 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salvador España showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 9th minute of the match. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 10th minute. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Intxaurrondo's Salvador España did a great save. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manel Cardeñosa in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 15th minute of play forced Intxaurrondo's goalkeeper Salvador España to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Boșneag, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Guido Gómez charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Gómez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Intxaurrondo getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Guido Gómez hit a great ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Salvador España didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. After 26 played minutes Intxaurrondo got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Zarobski. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manel Cardeñosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes, Mathijn Doctor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Netherlands and the Intxaurrondo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Nestor Van Den Broek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Nestor Van Den Broek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. When Manel Cardeñosa fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Intxaurrondo's protests and gave Manel Cardeñosa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Intxaurrondo getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Manel Cardeñosa hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador España breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador España having to interfere. Salvador España made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 59th minute. Cordareo Folch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordareo Folch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Intxaurrondo's Salvador España got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Intxaurrondo's Salvador España played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 70th minute of play. Intxaurrondo's Salvador España proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Intxaurrondo from getting a goal against them. Nestor Van Den Broek scored 1-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Salvador España made a huge save. After 80 minutes Intxaurrondo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordareo Folch in the 82nd minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manel Cardeñosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Intxaurrondo's Artur Osowski got a free kick in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got free with Salvador España in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Salvador España made a huge save. After 89 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Salvador España came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
