Italy's Eliseo Cutri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yunus-Emre Balcik in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Yunus-Emre Balcik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 36th minute of play. Siricio Liotta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Italy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 43rd minute, Zaccheo Andolina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yunus-Emre Balcik. The goal made the score 2-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaccheo Andolina to make the kick off. But to his dismay, Sigfrido Auletta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Rodrigues got free with Flavio Vittori in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
