Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Czech Republic's Erik Jilek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. David Rusil hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Alan Rezek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Jim Houwing sent off a good shot on target. Jim Houwing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Erik Jilek got a free kick in the 17th minute. Chiel Wilson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Jilek in the 22nd minute of play. Czech Republic's David Rusil got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kvetoslav Janku kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Alan Rezek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Chiel Wilson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Daniel Vitek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Klaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Denis Dostal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jim Houwing succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 46th playminute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerard Klaus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when AVV Zeeburgia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Rolink didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Denis Dostal got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 57 minutes into the match, AVV Zeeburgia's Mark Roetering sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vavrinec Holub narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jim Houwing blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vavrinec Holub having to make a save. When Mark Roetering came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the AVV Zeeburgia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Roetering couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute Denis Dostal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiel Wilson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Klaus came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mark Roetering sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alan Rezek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Jilek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Chiel Wilson made a huge save. Gerard Klaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Houwing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Gerard Klaus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Gerard Klaus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Dostal in the 93rd minute of play forced AVV Zeeburgia's goalkeeper Chiel Wilson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jim Houwing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AVV Zeeburgia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
