Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Traian Brăiloiu kicked off to start the match. In the 7th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Tuitert to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to F.C. YKE getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Remus Gavruță hit a great ball. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute of the match, Twan van Nistelrooij tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 18th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Traian Brăiloiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Felix Leahu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Leahu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felix Leahu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 34 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Leahu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mugur Ceaușescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. After a rather tough play, F.C. YKE's Zhuo Yang Lang got a free kick in the 39th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Twan van Nistelrooij, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Felix Leahu firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 54 played minutes F.C. YKE got a freekick which was hit by Michael Jordan. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Felix Leahu however easily saved by the left post. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, F.C. YKE's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Felix Leahu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 61st minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Ceaușescu in the 63rd minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Egbert Nijveldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. YKE the free kick. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egbert Nijveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Twan van Nistelrooij in the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Felix Leahu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Mugur Ceaușescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Silviu Dumitrana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Leahu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 86 minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Ceaușescu in the 94th minute of play. With a little luck, F.C. YKE's Felix Leahu got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line.
