Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Traian Brăiloiu made the kick off and thus started the match. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Twan van Nistelrooij's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute Samet Ağar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Leahu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th minute, Traian Brăiloiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remus Gavruță during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 15 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Leahu having to interfere. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Traian Brăiloiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the F.C. YKE defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Leahu. The F.C. YKE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Leahu should have stopped the shot. Felix Leahu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Felix Leahu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samet Ağar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Samet Ağar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Arnout Reekers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. F.C. YKE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when David Eikelkamp scored to the left of an out of position Felix Leahu, making the score, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got free with Felix Leahu in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Traian Brăiloiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Netherlands's Bas Tuitert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Traian Brăiloiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. YKE's supporters rose to their feet, but Traian Brăiloiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Wim Wilmes put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Felix Leahu. F.C. YKE's Silviu Dumitrana was substituted for Samet Ağar. After 74 minutes, Wim Wilmes made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. F.C. YKE's Felix Leahu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Felix Leahu in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. YKE's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Felix Leahu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Dumitrana in the 86th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Leahu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Eikelkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Leahu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The F.C. YKE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
