F.C. YKE's Felix Leahu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Leahu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Twan van Nistelrooij came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the F.C. YKE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Twan van Nistelrooij couldn't finish the play. Felix Leahu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edward Vanderstraeten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Twan van Nistelrooij in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Mugur Ceaușescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. After 30 played minutes F.C. YKE got a freekick which was hit by Michael Jordan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Felix Leahu in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samet Ağar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Leahu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Felix Leahu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Traian Brăiloiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Traian Brăiloiu made a kick off. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Felix Leahu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Belgium booed when F.C. YKE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Jordan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the F.C. YKE defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Leahu. The F.C. YKE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Leahu should have stopped the shot. Yves Dervaux scored 4-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Leahu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mugur Ceaușescu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Leahu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. F.C. YKE made a substitution. Silviu Dumitrana replaced Samet Ağar. After some careless play in the F.C. YKE defense, Yves Dervaux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Leahu. The F.C. YKE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Leahu should have stopped the shot. Mugur Ceaușescu hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Felix Leahu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Dervaux in the 79th minute of play. F.C. YKE's Felix Leahu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silviu Dumitrana in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Leahu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of F.C. YKE's Felix Leahu. Felix Leahu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
