Willy Stieler made in the 5th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ulrich Stein however managed to control. SS SuperSonics's Jerzy Dudek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 6th minute of play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Wincenty Chlebek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wincenty Chlebek's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, SS SuperSonics's Wincenty Chlebek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Willy Stieler threw the ball into play from the sideline. SS SuperSonics's Lucjan Puchlik quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincenty Chlebek in the 16th minute of the match. Wincenty Chlebek took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wincenty Chlebek's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. SS SuperSonics's Filip Jandryca managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Linus Schwerner in the 30 minute of the game. The throw-in from Willy Stieler in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SS SuperSonics's Lucjan Puchlik. Willy Stieler made in the 33rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Albin Holweck immediately put the ball in play. The audience was convinced that Wincenty Chlebek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. SS SuperSonics's Jerzy Dudek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save SS SuperSonics from getting a goal against them. The Germany players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SS SuperSonics were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Almiron to make the kick off. Miguel Almiron struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SS SuperSonics. Germany's Linus Schwerner managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lucjan Puchlik in the 55 minute of the game. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. SS SuperSonics were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zdzislaw Dembowski took the corner. Zdzislaw Dembowski made a great header on SS SuperSonics's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wincenty Chlebek might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wincenty Chlebek ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincenty Chlebek in the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Wincenty Chlebek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Filip Jandryca hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The SS SuperSonics players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
