Wim Wilmess short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Ye Yan Yu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benicio Eutropio's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Eutropio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cadáveres Voladores getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Benicio Eutropio hit a great ball. Ye Yan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Cadáveres Voladores's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Ye Yan Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Laércio Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Wim Wilmes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ye Yan Yu. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Monteiro came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ye Yan Yu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ye Yan Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ye Yan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Arnaldo Firman kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Gilbert Amsler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cadáveres Voladores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Birger Ståhlman fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cadáveres Voladores's protests and gave Birger Ståhlman a yellow card for diving instead. Birger Ståhlman hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Cadáveres Voladores's Ye Yan Yu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Cadáveres Voladores from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Silvano Casanova in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Netherlands's David Eikelkamp. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Cadáveres Voladores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Horado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ye Yan Yu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Ye Yan Yu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 3-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ye Yan Yu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ye Yan Yu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 71st minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birger Ståhlman in the 73rd minute. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ye Yan Yu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 86th minute of play forced Cadáveres Voladores's goalkeeper Ye Yan Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ye Yan Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liu Gang Jian hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cadáveres Voladores getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Silvano Casanova hit a great ball. Netherlands walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
