Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Frank Peletier started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jan-Olof Göransson hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rinia IF's zone, Frank Peletier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthias Sigman came out of the goal and Frank Peletier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdo Alvarenga in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. Camille Baume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Matthias Sigman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Remy Dupuy hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Robert Chapuis. In the 18th minute, Jerry Öfverman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Peletier couldn't finish the play. Niklas Duset hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The supporters of France booed when Rinia IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Brosio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jan-Olof Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for France! When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Rinia IF's Gunnar Fristedt got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Maxime Durand. In the 36th minute Valdo Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Valdo Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdo Alvarenga to make the kick off. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the match, Rinia IF's goalkeeper Matthias Sigman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. Camille Baume recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Peletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Matthias Sigman in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jean Bombelles kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Gunnar Fristedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Chapuis got free with Matthias Sigman in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Alvarenga in the 72nd minute of play. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Alvarenga came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Sigman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 80th minute of play forced Rinia IF's goalkeeper Matthias Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Olof Göransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Bror Siöman kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. A collision led to Rinia IF getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Bror Siöman hit a great ball. In the 96th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camille Baume to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, Rinia IF could leave the field as winners, despite France having more of the ball for most of the match.
