Florian Marciewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. GÓRNIK ZABRZE's Florian Marciewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save GÓRNIK ZABRZE from getting a goal against them. Boleslaw Hoffman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Keld Paulsen. After 62 minutes of play, Denmark's Chris Nygaard made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florian Marciewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Przemyslaw Del Piero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Muzzolon in the 70th minute of the match. With 72 minutes on the clock, Lars Steen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
