Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Sopronkövesd getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Csaba Fülöp hit a great ball. In the 5th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Sopronkövesd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Antal Dobi quite easily take care of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Mehis Kapstas came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehis Kapstas's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehis Kapstas in the 15th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Attila Weszely mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sopronkövesd and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Lars Meesters hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csaba Fülöp in the 32nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Dobi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 34th minute. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Mathijn Doctor hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Sopronkövesd's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Antal Dobi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ádám Nyúl came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attila Weszely in the 45th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehis Kapstas to make the kick off. After 53 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dániel Váczi who took care of the corner kick. Sopronkövesd's Róbert Kis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnout Reekers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 54th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Sopronkövesd's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Attila Weszely, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 60 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Mehis Kapstas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mehis Kapstas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehis Kapstas got free with Arnout Reekers in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Antal Dobi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sopronkövesd's Antal Dobi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Sopronkövesd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Árpád Zádori to maneuver through the defense. Antal Dobi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jocelyn Papon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
