The score was now 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Sopronkövesd's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Antal Dobi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Balazs Lajos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antal Dobi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hegedus Henrik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehis Kapstas in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Sopronkövesd's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Antal Dobi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antal Dobi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Antal Dobi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Sopronkövesd got a freekick which was hit by Szilveszter Kővári. Antal Dobi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 28th minute of play. Sopronkövesd's Antal Dobi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Katona Janos in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Sopronkövesd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Antal Valentin kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antal Dobi prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

After some careless play in the Sopronkövesd defense, Boros Benedek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antal Dobi. The Sopronkövesd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antal Dobi should have stopped the shot. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Csaba Fülöp in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Csaba Fülöp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 65 played minutes Sopronkövesd got a freekick which was hit by Árpád Zádori. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csaba Fülöp, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Hungary booed when Sopronkövesd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. István Kásás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hungary played a much better game than Sopronkövesd and deserved their victory. The Sopronkövesd players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
