After taking down the ball on Belgium's corner Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adilson do Vale quite easily take care of the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adilson do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Al-Slottshöjden's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. The corner led Belgium's Sander Dermaut to fire away a dangerous shot which Adilson do Vale despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Al-Slottshöjden's Reggie Clement in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Belgium's Casper Claes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 minutes, Sander Dermaut mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgium and the Al-Slottshöjden players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Sander Dermaut got a free kick in the 21st minute. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isak Deckbergh in the 22nd minute of the match. When Lenny Clocheret fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgium's protests and gave Lenny Clocheret a yellow card for diving instead. Lenny Clocheret kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reggie Clement, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 24th minute, Reggie Clement left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Al-Slottshöjden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 33rd minute, but Adilson do Vale got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Al-Slottshöjden hanging dry this time. After 33 played minutes Siebe Michiels rounded Al-Slottshöjden's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Söderkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Al-Slottshöjden's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adilson do Vale came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Al-Slottshöjden's Adilson do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Al-Slottshöjden from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adilson do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Al-Slottshöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Dervaux came free, but Adilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Al-Slottshöjden's goalkeeper Adilson do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Siebe Michiels hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adilson do Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josef Hellbom went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. In the 94th match minute, Al-Slottshöjden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Modig to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Al-Slottshöjden's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adilson do Vale came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
