Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Taribo West sent off a good shot on target. Ignacio Di Stasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Toledo in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Albeiro Usuriaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Spain's Gabriel Ascaso got control of the ball when Taribo West tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isótopos V.M. were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Spain's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Taribo West took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 24th minute of play forced Isótopos V.M.'s goalkeeper Ignacio Di Stasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacio Di Stasi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Toledo's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. With his leg Gabriel Ascaso managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Isótopos V.M.'s Pedro Domingues fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Pedro Domingues sped through Spain's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. Ignacio Di Stasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Pedro Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 41st minute of play forced Isótopos V.M.'s goalkeeper Ignacio Di Stasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Maidana hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Ignacio Di Stasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Domingues to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, David Aranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albeiro Usuriaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Toledo had several of the Isótopos V.M.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Ignacio Di Stasi as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Toledo got free with Ignacio Di Stasi in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Isótopos V.M.'s Ignacio Di Stasi got control of the ball when David Aranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Isótopos V.M.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Ignacio Di Stasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Ruiz replaced Adria Bielsa. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. A throw-in in the 84th minute of the game was made by Jon Cubero with Vicente Merino as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ignacio Di Stasi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 94th minute. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Isótopos V.M.'s Albeiro Usuriaga. But to his dismay, Albeiro Usuriaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Isótopos V.M. could leave the field as winners, despite Spain having more of the ball for most of the match.
