Reynaldo Labora's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Robres, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Hungary's Balazs Lajos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jama Macia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bakos Endre hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Modroñes's Zosimo Mescua took a good shot, in the 88th minute, which hit the crossbar above Fodor Daniel's head, and flew over the goal. Hungary's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Modroñes. 94 minutes into the match, Modroñes's goalkeeper Jama Macia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna.
