Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Petrică Oproiu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Hakkı Deniz Öztimur rounded Germany's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 11th minute FENERBAHÇE were awarded a corner. Afşin Temcit went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Afşin Temcit almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. In the 12th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lucjan Tokarczyk came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the FENERBAHÇE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucjan Tokarczyk couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute of the match FENERBAHÇE got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afşin Temcit ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Afşin Temcit got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petrică Oproiu got free with Tommy Kahn in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when FENERBAHÇE's Petrică Oproiu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 28 minutes, Özgün Sefa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FENERBAHÇE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özgün Sefa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anıl Ege Tokuşhan hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. FENERBAHÇE were furious when Afşin Temcit was red carded, 37 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 38th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Tokarczyk in the 40th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, FENERBAHÇE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Deniz Öztimur to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

After having played for 51 minutes, Anıl Ege Tokuşhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FENERBAHÇE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anıl Ege Tokuşhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frutos Laserna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 54th minute of the match. FENERBAHÇE's Frutos Laserna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 54th minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petrică Oproiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes of play, FENERBAHÇE's Petrică Oproiu made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 60 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. In the 66th minute, Julian Solarek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Tokarczyk in the 67th minute of the match. After 69 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hakkı Deniz Öztimur who took care of the corner kick. In the 72nd minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FENERBAHÇE made a substitution. Korkutalp Koca replaced Petrică Oproiu. 75 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Korkutalp Koca came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Julian Solarek in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Janik Vogt. FENERBAHÇE's Frutos Laserna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save FENERBAHÇE from getting a goal against them. If Korkutalp Koca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frutos Laserna. FENERBAHÇE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 86th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frutos Laserna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match Germany got a corner. FENERBAHÇE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Germany's Frank Sachs to fire away a dangerous shot which Frutos Laserna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FENERBAHÇE fully deserved thier win.
