Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Czech Republic's Erik Jilek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Alkomaty's Klement Lichorobiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Jilek in the 4th minute of play. FC Alkomaty's attentive Jerzy Jazwiec managed to snatch the ball when Dalimil Charvat made a throw-in in the 7th minute of the game. Erik Jilek scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klement Lichorobiec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Alkomaty's Damazy Wozniak managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Denis Dostal in the 16 minute of the game. Grzegorz Giertych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. Klement Lichorobiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Dostal in the 27th minute of play. When Lukasz Skonieczny came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FC Alkomaty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukasz Skonieczny couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arkadiusz Dobrzechowski during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 34 minutes into the game, one of FC Alkomaty:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 40 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's Erik Jilek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Klement Lichorobiec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Giertych came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Denis Dostal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grzegorz Giertych to strike the kick off in the second half. Alan Rezek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Alkomaty booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalimil Charvat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Erik Jilek made a precise shot to the right of Klement Lichorobiec. FC Alkomaty's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Lukasz Skonieczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Blochowiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Vitek made in the 77th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alan Rezek immediately put the ball in play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kvetoslav Janku during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Kvetoslav Janku got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The FC Alkomaty manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Czech Republic to win.
