Bruno Montrel got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 16th match minute before Tommy Kahn had time to react. Nils-Erik Fagrell let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 19th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Március Péntek, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 63rd minute Március Péntek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute Jonny McNamara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Jonny McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Ginlabbet Stockholm players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
