Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paul-Louis Van Mechelen got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in YR Mechelen's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andries Van Mechelen came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Bertram Svenningsen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of YR Mechelen's Andries Van Mechelen. Andries Van Mechelen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. In the 28th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenn Skou to maneuver through the defense. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Andries Van Mechelen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Nygaard went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Olav Graversen came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olav Graversen couldn't finish the play. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olav Graversen kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Denmark were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Chris Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. Andries Van Mechelen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Paul-Louis Van Mechelen kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Andries Van Mechelen came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Chris Nygaard. But to his dismay, Chris Nygaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The throw-in from Theis Winther in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by YR Mechelen's Diederik Van Mechelen. Andries Van Mechelen didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Denmark's Chris Nygaard shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chris Nygaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Andries Van Mechelen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Chris Nygaards short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Andries Van Mechelen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Denmark's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
