Carlos Solari who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Arnout Reekers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 8 minutes into the match, Ullún's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but CJ 曾诚 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes Sukma Adriansyah rounded Netherlands's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. CJ 曾诚 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. CJ 曾诚 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ullún defense, Lars Meesters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of CJ 曾诚. The Ullún fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that CJ 曾诚 should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Ullún's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sukma Adriansyah, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The referee showed Cezary Moryl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fernan Pere was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Netherlands. Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving CJ 曾诚. 2-4. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sukma Adriansyah in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastian Lupu was slow to take the kick. During this time Ullún's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 85th minute of play forced Ullún's goalkeeper CJ 曾诚 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with CJ 曾诚 in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ullún's CJ 曾诚 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 88th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Lars Meesters had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of CJ 曾诚. Ullún's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Meesters was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. In the 98th minute Andriy Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
