Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Romania's Adam Olaru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Unesson in the 4th minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giorgio March took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costica Vladimiri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute of the match Romania got a corner. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adam Olaru ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Sanda Cutov managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Carol Stinga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pol Petton, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Romania's Carol Stinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Del Piero in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Del Piero came free, but Carol Stinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giorgio March showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Olaru in the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Giorgio March got control of the ball when Costica Vladimiri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giorgio March made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costica Vladimiri in the 26th minute of play. Romania were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adam Olaru took the corner. Alex Serban struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Giorgio March didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romania. A sloppy throw-in by Bonifacio Abascal in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Romania's Rasvan Cristescu. In the 45th minute, Alex Serban had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Lu Fan Xi fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's protests and gave Lu Fan Xi a yellow card for diving instead. 47 minutes into the match, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goalkeeper Giorgio March had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costica Vladimiri. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Romania's Carol Stinga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Romania from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd minute C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 were awarded a corner. Saul Roman went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Bonifacio Abascal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Romania's Carol Stinga did a great save. Saul Roman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carol Stinga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Carol Stinga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alessandro Del Piero succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 54th playminute. 56 minutes into the match, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goal looked a bit too open when Sanda Cutov came free, but Giorgio March reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carol Stinga was a little too slow when Bonifacio Abascal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-2. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 made a substitution. Christian Almkvist replaced Alessandro Del Piero. Giorgio March stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anton Stinga's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Carol Stinga was a little too slow when Christian Almkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-3. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Alvar Llinares was substituted for Manuel Lopez de Toro. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Sanda Cutov put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Giorgio March. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Diagur in the 94th minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gervasio Diagur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Romania manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 to win.
