Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Marie Van Landschoot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Izydor Smolak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers, 1-0. Jean-Marie Van Landschoot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars Meesters went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-Marie Van Landschoot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to HellBoys Sieradz getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Iwan Glapiak hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jean-Marie Van Landschoot. HellBoys Sieradz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 41st minute of play forced HellBoys Sieradz's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Van Landschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Eikelkamp to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Izydor Smolak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes Gustaaf Groeneveldt rounded HellBoys Sieradz's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-5. Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 80thth minute. Though ot was a great shot HellBoys Sieradz's keeper Jean-Marie Van Landschoot was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of HellBoys Sieradz:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Netherlands:s goal. In the 84th minute, Ulryk Juchno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. HellBoys Sieradz's Jean-Marie Van Landschoot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save HellBoys Sieradz from getting a goal against them.
