But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertram Svenningsen couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garip Osmanoğlu saved Yenimahallegücü from getting behind. Denmark's Olav Graversen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Garip Osmanoğlu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garip Osmanoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Yenimahallegücü's Şahin Kamber fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. A well-hit corner resulted in Simon Bendtsen heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 27 minutes into the match, Kudret Güngör dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Keld Paulsen, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kudret Güngör in the 35th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kudret Güngör's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Qian Kuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yenimahallegücü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 45th minute of the match, Qian Kuan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Keld Paulsen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 46th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjarne Kirkegaard to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kudret Güngör made a kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yenimahallegücü's Garip Osmanoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kudret Güngör in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. In the 81st minute Kudret Güngör shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Yenimahallegücü's Garip Osmanoğlu got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute Denmark were awarded a corner. Chris Nygaard went to the cornerflag to take it. Garip Osmanoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Kenn Skou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yenimahallegücü the free kick. In the 96th minute Kudret Güngör shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Yenimahallegücü fans cheered their team off the field, for while Denmark had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
