Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Red Devils's Marcel da Rocha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Olaru came free, but Braulio Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Marcel da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carol Stinga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14thth minute of the game Costica Vladimiri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Serban came free, but Braulio Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasile Ciumak got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alex Serban. Carol Stinga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel da Rocha in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Red Devils got a corner. Romania's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sotos Zervoulakos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sotos Zervoulakos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Romania's Carol Stinga did a great save. Braulio Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costica Vladimiri in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 29th minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braulio Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costica Vladimiri in the 31st minute of the match. Gwidon Okropny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carol Stinga having to interfere. Marcel da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Olaru was the one to do the kick off. Marcel da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carol Stinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel da Rocha in the 51st minute of play. Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costica Vladimiri in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Costica Vladimiri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Olaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braulio Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Olaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Romania's Carol Stinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 58th minute of play. In the 68th minute Costica Vladimiri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Gartxot came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Romania's Costica Vladimiri. But to his dismay, Costica Vladimiri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Romania made a substitution. Anton Stinga replaced Adam Olaru. Red Devils's Slawomir Trzaskoma quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vasile Ciumak, made in the 75th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the game, Filip Stefan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Red Devils's Dawid Kalak quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Braulio Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Vaduva in the 80th minute of the match. Gwidon Okropny hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Red Devils's Kazimierz Deyna managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vasile Ciumak in the 82 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel da Rocha got free with Carol Stinga in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Stinga in the 91st minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Braulio Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
