After a rather tough play, MXM Squad NS ★DAC★'s Cacá Pirani got a free kick in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Toledo in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Botgros saved MXM Squad NS ★DAC★ from getting behind. Horea Botgros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Domenec Torrent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, MXM Squad NS ★DAC★'s goal looked a bit too open when Omar Toledo came free, but Horea Botgros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horea Botgros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Toledo in the 38th minute of play. If Jiang Bang Zhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Ascaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domenec Torrent in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Stan to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Victor Stan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Domenec Torrent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Stan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Victor Stan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gabriel Ascaso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horea Botgros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute Victor Stan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Stan in the 76th minute of play. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa. Ulises Nazario's late challenge caught a Spain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Nazario helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Ulises Nazario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang Bang Zhi in the 89th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
