Laurens Vandamme hit a great ball. Florencio Ferran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Casper Claes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 13 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Floris Claeys. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Florencio Ferran sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Ferran in the 16th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Floris Claeys made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Húsares's Paulo Gasteiz. Fabio Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Belgium's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Florencio Ferran 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Humberto Pacorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. Florencio Ferran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Maksymilian Wydrych stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Maksymilian Wydrych tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ubaldo Kismi was slow to take the kick. During this time Húsares's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ubaldo Kismi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belgium's Casper Claes did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgium's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Vanderstraeten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Quintyn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 48 in the game by Florencio Ferran from a close distance when the talented Casper Claes managed to make a qualified save. Belgium's players were relieved.

62 minutes into the match, Húsares's Florencio Ferran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yves Dervaux got free with Fabio Quintyn in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69thth minute of the game Edward Vanderstraeten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Húsares's Fabio Quintyn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Húsares made a substitution. Teobaldo Ibon replaced Florencio Ferran. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Ibon in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Simon Sabbe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabio Quintyn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Húsares getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tomás Chinto hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Húsares's Fabio Quintyn got control of the ball when Yves Dervaux tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabio Quintyn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 94th minute. After 96 minutes, Tomás Chinto mouthed his way into the referee's book.
