Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Florencio Ferran struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Húsares. In the 7th minute of the match Húsares got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ubaldo Kismi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Faustino Almeida hit a great ball. Fabio Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 11th minute of play. Florencio Ferran took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 21st minute Florencio Ferran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Ferran's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Daniel Pimentel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Quintyn having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 29th minute of play forced Húsares's goalkeeper Fabio Quintyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Florencio Ferran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Humberto Pacorro, made in the 35th minute of the game. In the 36thth minute of the game Viriato Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Húsares's Fabio Quintyn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Ferran got free with Wilson Amorim in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Quintyn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabio Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 40th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Rodolfo Miranda with Caetano Moreira as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Húsares's Felipe Venerando got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Mehmet Akif Ayana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Ferran was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Felipe Barreto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabio Quintyn. The goal made the score 1-1. Húsares's Ubaldo Kismi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rodolfo Miranda, made in the 60th minute of the game. After 63 minutes of play, Portugal's Viriato Moura made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Quintyn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Húsares's Florencio Ferran. But to his dismay, Florencio Ferran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Húsares made a substitution. Teobaldo Ibon replaced Florencio Ferran. Bartolomeu Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Fabio Quintyn made a huge save. In the 75th minute Teobaldo Ibon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Fabio Quintyn threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartolomeu Dias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 81st minute, Húsares's Tomás Chinto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tomás Chinto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Húsares protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tomás Chinto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When Humberto Pacorro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Húsares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Pacorro couldn't finish the play. Húsares's attentive Candido Ted managed to snatch the ball when Faustino Almeida made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. Candido Ted hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
