Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ralles Bollklubb's Dragan Numanović. But to his dismay, Dragan Numanović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Bröms in the 21st minute of play. Ralles Bollklubb's Tata Rușanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Ralles Bollklubb booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a rather tough play, Ralles Bollklubb's Greger Sandström got a free kick in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivar Sontman to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Dragan Numanović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Dragan Numanović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tata Rușanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 54th minute. Ivar Sontman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kalle Fors in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 85th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Sontman in the 86th minute of the match. Victor Krum charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Krum the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victor Krum kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tata Rușanu having to interfere.
