With a little luck, Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic got control of the ball when Joonatan Ryers tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Jovan Borisov got a free kick in the 21st minute. Augustijn Jenken kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Sreten Popovic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serbia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sreten Popovic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28 played minutes Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin got a freekick which was hit by Joonatan Ryers. In the 29th match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cvijetin Nanusevski to maneuver through the defense. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Serbia from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic got control of the ball when Joonatan Ryers tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute, Viktor Van Aken reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. The goal made the score 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sreten Popovic was the one to do the kick off. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joonatan Ryers in the 57th minute of the match. Sreten Popovic could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Dominic Colebrants made a huge save. In the 66th minute Teun Van Heurick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Dejonckheere kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's Oliver Dejonckheere. But to his dismay, Oliver Dejonckheere quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Serbia's Sreten Popovic managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Augustijn Jenken in the 76 minute of the game. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sreten Popovic hit a great ball. After 86 minutes of play, Serbia's Sreten Popovic made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
