ORIHUELA DEPORTIVA's Geronimo Serena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.F.P. ORIHUELA DEPORTIVA reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Geronimo Serena made the kick off in the second half. Gilabert Calderon hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Dalimil Charvat got a free kick in the 89th minute. Jose-Enrique Carrasco took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahiano Valverde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.F.P. ORIHUELA DEPORTIVA fully deserved thier win.
