Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eusébio Terra took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Nova GO's zone, Balazs Lajos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredão Freitas came out of the goal and Balazs Lajos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when Vila Nova GO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Fernando de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th match minute, Vila Nova GO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Alfredão Freitas came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Balazs Lajos. But to his dismay, Balazs Lajos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vila Nova GO's Alfredão Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 14th minute of play. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Vila Nova GO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfredão Freitas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Vila Nova GO defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredão Freitas. The Vila Nova GO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredão Freitas should have stopped the shot. After 21 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Hegedus Henrik. Jacinto Prado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vila Nova GO's Alfredão Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 26th minute of play. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Takacs Tibor hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Hegedus Henrik made a precise shot to the right of Alfredão Freitas. Vila Nova GO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 39 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Prado came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antal Valentin hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Alfredão Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 44th minute of play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute, Hungary's Balazs Lajos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfredão Freitas. Alfredão Freitas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês de Mendonça in the 68th minute of play. Balazs Lajos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredão Freitas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juarês de Mendonça during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfredão Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 75th minute of the match. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Alfredão Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antal Valentin in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfredão Freitas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Alfredão Freitas made a huge save. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Terra in the 89th minute of play. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
