Feri Siagian succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 2nd playminute. Evert Skräddare's late challenge caught a Croatia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evert Skräddare helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Durian FC's Evert Skräddare got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Martin Bosak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Croatia's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Bosak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aykutalp İspinoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilija Skugor made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Feri Siagian sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feri Siagian. Croatia's Ilija Skugor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Croatia from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Croatia booed when Durian FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randy Rumaropen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinko Stankovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Aykutalp İspinoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Croatia's Toni Mauzer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aykutalp İspinoz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teo Gudelj charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Gudelj the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Teo Gudelj hit a great ball. Feri Siagian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Ilija Skugor made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Bosak in the 42nd minute of play forced Durian FC's goalkeeper Aykutalp İspinoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Croatia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Toni Mauzer in the 43rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neven Culina during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Neven Culina hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Feri Siagian made the kick off in the second half. Toni Mauzer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Aykutalp İspinoz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Renátó Márkus scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilija Skugor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Dinko Stankovic managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in Durian FC's zone, Toni Mauzer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aykutalp İspinoz came out of the goal and Toni Mauzer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feri Siagian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renátó Márkus took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Ilija Skugor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feri Siagian went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fadhil Sutha in the 86th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renátó Márkus in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilija Skugor saved Croatia from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Damir Pongrac got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Croatia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
