Sigfrido Auletta hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 尹强震. If Porziano Marchitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zaccheo Andolina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 庞辰延 having to make a save. 庞辰延 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 崔旭平. The audience thought a goal was coming when 尹强震 got free with Flavio Vittori in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Italy's Sigfrido Auletta got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Zaccheo Andolina really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. After a rather tough play, 广州太阳神足球俱乐部's 哥伦布 杜威 got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Sigfrido Auletta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 庞辰延 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 杨翔洲 in the 66th minute of play. Porziano Marchitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 庞辰延 having to interfere. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 杨翔洲, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, 尹强震 made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Adriano Curto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. 庞辰延 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Italy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
