Iurie Purcaru charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iurie Purcaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 29 minutes into the game, one of Eantdit FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pang Yao had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Frank Sachs's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Eantdit FK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Iurie Purcaru hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Vochin in the 35th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustinian Vochin struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eantdit FK. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. Tommy Kahn didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Pang Yao made a huge save.
