Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Viriato Moura made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to GD Almargense getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jacinto Baldaia hit a great ball. After 5 minutes of play, GD Almargense's Alexandre Eanes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, GD Almargense's António Sousa got a free kick in the 8th minute. Claudemiro Tristão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The throw-in from Adérito Pinheiro in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Fabricio Andrade. When Fabricio Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Fabricio Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. 21 minutes into the game, one of Portugal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Romão Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adérito Pinheiro. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Benedito Rebelo took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. Celso Eiró who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Wilson Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 41st match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Caetano to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of GD Almargense booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Baldaia struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GD Almargense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celso Eiró to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Celso Eiró shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Rebelo in the 56th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Viriato Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. GD Almargense made a substitution. Alexandre Valadares replaced Benedito Rebelo. GD Almargense's Zarco Patrício was substituted for Adérito Pinheiro. In the 68th minute Rui Ramires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caetano Moreira's late challenge caught a GD Almargense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caetano Moreira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. After 72 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Moreira. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joško Gvardiol went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. 77 minutes into the game, Jacinto Baldaia threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Rui Ramires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Rui Ramires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zarco Patrício in the 82nd minute of the match. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by GD Almargense's Zarco Patrício. But to his dismay, Zarco Patrício quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Daniel Pimentel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Pimentel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudemiro Tristão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zarco Patrício, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GD Almargense's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
