Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Bredegaard in the 14th minute of play. The GFG VOEL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thorlejf Prætorius should have stopped the shot. Kim Bredegaard helped the player get up and apologised. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 42nd minute of play forced GFG VOEL's goalkeeper Thorlejf Prætorius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-10 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Major Barna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thorlejf Prætorius. That made the score 0-13 after 67 minutes of play. GFG VOEL's Thorlejf Prætorius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boros Benedek in the 70th minute of play. Thorlejf Prætorius was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Major Barna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Major Barna really showed his touch with that goal: 0-18. A hard shot 92 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented Thorlejf Prætorius managed to make a qualified save. GFG VOEL's players were relieved. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Thorlejf Prætorius made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GFG VOEL.
